What is the Redmond SchoolPool?

The Redmond SchoolPool program encourages families to find options for getting to and from school that don’t involve driving alone.  Driving students alone to school causes neighborhood traffic congestion and local air pollution.

We partner with Lake Washington School District Redmond schools and focus our efforts on two months, May “Bike to School Month” and October “Walk to School Month” encouraging students to walk, bike, carpool with other families or ride the school bus.  We hope the participation commitment during these two months, will inspire many to maintain their new healthy and fun habits throughout the school year.
