The following emergency management plans were designed specifically for the City of Redmond and have been adopted by the Redmond City Council and approved by FEMA:
This plan provides the City of Redmond guidance in preparing for, responding to, and recovering from an incident. It discusses guidelines on how city departments coordinate their actions to continue essential functions.
Hazard mitigation is sustained action taken to reduce or eliminate long-term risk to people and their property. Redmond’s Hazard Mitigation Plan creates a framework for risk-based decision making to reduce damages to lives, property, and the economy from future disasters.
Redmond’s Pandemic Influenza Plan provides a guide so the City of Redmond can continue to provide essential services in the event of an influenza pandemic.
