Requests for Reconsideration on a City of Redmond Hearing Examiner issued decision or recommendation

Any person who participated in the hearing (Party of Record) may file a written request with the Hearing Examiner for reconsideration within 14 days of the date of the Hearing Examiner's decision or recommendation. The request shall explicitly set forth alleged errors of procedure or fact. The Hearing Examiner shall act after the filing of the request for reconsideration by either denying the request or issuing a revised decision in accordance with RZC 21.76.

Requests for Reconsideration should be submitted to the Office of the Hearing Examiner by mail, email, personal delivery or by fax before 5:00 p.m. on the last day of the reconsideration period.

PLEASE NOTE: Appeals of a Hearing Examiner's decision may be filed with the Development Services Center, and will be heard by the Redmond City Council. An appeal of the Hearing Examiner's decision must be based only on the record made before the Hearing Examiner at the hearing. A recommendation may not be appealed to City Council.  Appeal Form
