An appointment is needed when applying for any permit that requires plan review or when applying for more than three (3) over-the-counter-permits. To schedule an appointment, please contact one of our Permit Technicians at 425-556-2473 or by email to permittech@redmond.gov.

The Public Works Development Services Divison provides civil plan review of development within the city to ensure the infrastructure (transportation, stormwater, water and sanitary sewer systems) is available or will be constructed to support the development proposal. The Division issues associated permits including water meters, side sewers, clear & grade, and right-of-way use.
Requests for Inspection

Building, Planning, and Public Works Inspection Requests are now being made through our new Interactive Voice Response System, DirectRequest. With DirectRequest you can schedule an inspection with any City organization involved with Development Review. You may also cancel a scheduled inspection, obtain Inspection Results, check the status of projects that are currently in the Plan Review process, receive a Permit Inspection History by fax or check Zoning Status. To schedule a Fire Inspection please use the online submittal form.
